Hey everyone!
Hope things are going
well for you all this week. They're going well for us too. Last
week was a good one. Didn't have too many lessons, so we had a bit of
time on our hands. We've been looking for new places to find, and we'll
try those out this week and see how it goes. We had zone conference in
Warsaw on Friday, and that was really solid. President Turek talked
a lot about finding, and it was good. We'll try to apply some of the
things he taught us. Conference this weekend was really good.
We were able to get O.
to come to most of Priesthood session, and that was good. He had to leave
a little early, so we weren't able to ask him about his thoughts, but he seemed
to enjoy it. I enjoyed conference a lot. One of my favorite talks was
President Nelson's about the Book of Mormon. I really liked the question
he posed: "How precious is the Book of Mormon to you?" What a
good introspective question we can all ask ourselves. It reminds me of
something Elder Holland said in a devotional when I was at the MTC, something
along the lines of "We haven't taken [the Book of Mormon] seriously
enough?". That's definitely something I'm going to consider this
week, and see how I can improve. May we all look at our use of the Book
of Mormon and find how we can better use it and apply its principles in our day
to day lives. Hope you all have a good week!
